“In Touch with Hong Kong Artists – A School-based Art Learning Programme” Teaching Kits

"In Touch with Hong Kong Artists – A School-based Art Learning Pilot Programme" (Phase 1 & 2) organised by the Hong Kong Museum of Art, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Society for Education in Art was successfully launched. Based on the collection of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the programme provides a set of education materials and a series of activity design with the aim to raise the local students' interest in the local artists and art scene.

13 Hong Kong artist teaching kits are now available for loan. Schools are welcome to borrow the kits and give us invaluable feedback. The teaching kits are recommended for senior primary and junior secondary school students.

Each teaching kit includes:

  • Artist video (Cantonese, with Chinese subtitles and English subtitles; MP4 format), video preview.
  • Selected images of the artist's works in the Collection of the Hong Kong Museum of Art (PPT format)
  • Programme booklet
  • Selected reference book

Borrowing method:

  • Each school can borrow a maximum of two teaching kits each time.
  • The maximum borrowing period is 1 month.
  • Pick up at "19/F, Kwun Tong View, 410 Kwun Tong Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon" by the school's representative with the school chop.
